  1. The auther includes this story to gives you an insite of how sensative Junior is and how he goes for girls who are out of his league. It tells us that he's sensative and tryes to get what he wants even if there out of his league.

  2. The author includes dawn to show that junior is really into girls that are out of his league. I think the author also puts this in the book so we can maybe get a taste of how hes going to react with penelope.

    1. I agree with adam. Junior is into girls that are out of his league. i also agree with what adam said about the auther because Junior does like Penelope and he thinks she's out of his league just like Dawn is out of his league.

  4. He tells the story about her to show that Junior really liked her. Also that he was really sensitive about her. I think he says it because Junior usually likes the girls he doesnt really have a chance with.

  5. The author includes the story about Dawn because Junoir was in love with her. Junior said that she was pretty, but Dawn didn't like Junior. She would always make fun of him. He said that with her making fun of him and calling him names that it made him love her more. It tells us that Junior is trying to get this girl that is way out of his leauge.

  7. The story shows how sensative and caring Junior can be. He always tries for the girls that he can't get. When it comes to girls his toughness like goes away and he's really sensative and nice and loving.

  10. I think the author includes the story about Dawn mainly because it shows how soft, sensitive, and caring he actually is. Like Adam said, setting high goals is always good for you. You may never reach that goal, but if you do, you feel Soooo good about it because it took so much time and effort.

  11. I think the Author chooses to tell the story about dawn to show us more about Junior. That he is sensitive and cries a lot over little unimportant things. He goes for what he wants even if its very rare that he'll actually get it.

  13. Junior is the type of guy who shoots for something really big. he has big dreams which we learned at the beginning of the book when he talked about wanting to be famous. Just like he has big goals, he also goes for girls that he doesnt really have a chance with.

  14. junior is a really soft person on the in side thats why he put dawn in the story just to show how he can care about people that dont deserve to be liked or cared about.
