I agree with adam. Junior is into girls that are out of his league. i also agree with what adam said about the auther because Junior does like Penelope and he thinks she's out of his league just like Dawn is out of his league.

I think the author includes the story about Dawn mainly because it shows how soft, sensitive, and caring he actually is. Like Adam said, setting high goals is always good for you. You may never reach that goal, but if you do, you feel Soooo good about it because it took so much time and effort.
