On Holloween Junior and Penelope were both dressed as homeless people. Penelope tells Junior that she dressed up as a homeless person because she is going to protest the treatment of homeless people in the country. She is going to ask people for spare change instead of candy. Junior tell Penelope that he is dressed like that to, so he can help protest the treatment of homeless Native Americans in the country. How Junior is going to connect with Penelope is by asking if she would want to pool there money and send it together. It is and it isnt a typical teenage behavior. It isn't becaue teans wouldn't really go out asking for spare change for the homeless how holloween. And how it is a typical teenage behavior is becuase Junior likes Penelope and is trying to impress her; in a way that she would like.
They connect by wearing the same thing for Halloween. Junior thinks they have something in common when they really don't and he lies to try to impress her. I think this is very typical teenage behavior because he is trying to impress her in a weird way. He is doing anything to get her to like him.
i agree. They do connect by wearing the same outfit even though Junior wasnt wearing it as a protest for homelss people, but he just wanted to impress her and that is totally a typical teenage behavior, trying to impress a girl. i SOOO agree with adam on this.
They both end up wearing homeless outfits. They match and he wants to do everything that he can to impress her. I think that is a normal teenager reaction becuase if you like someone you try to impress them. So i think that is normal behavior.
