    1. I agree with you, at first he think that Penelope or Roger won't like him if they find out he's poor, but when they find out, they help him. He realizes that people do care, but they can only care if you give them a chance to.

    2. I agree, he doesn't think that they will like him if he is poor, but really they like him for him. It doesn't matter to him if he has money, because they are nice people.

  2. He learns that if you let people in to your life a little bit, they can be amazing. What he means by this is that if you just let people know some truths about you, such as being poor, they might help you. After Roger found out he was poor, he helped him out with rides home from school a lot. That's just one example.

  3. Junior learns that he should let people into his life because ones he let Roger and Penelop into his life they were amazing to him. They were amazing because they were actually friends to him they would lend him money and also when Junior told them that he was poor they were not mean and they didnt leave him they helped him and stayed being friends with him. They helped him by giving him rides home instead of Junior having to walk or hitchhike home.

  4. Junior learns that he should tell the truth. Because they accepted him for who he was no matter what, they helped him out and had his back. He learned that even the people he thought would hate him when they found out, they still liked him, for him.

  6. That telling the truth is for the best, because as soon as JR told Roger that he was poor, roger hooked him up with rides. moral: Friends always have your back, rich or poor .. like when you get married but to your friends! AHA!
