It's humorous and ironic because the talk they have is neither long, nor serious. Rowdy calls Junior a "faggot" and Junior says "I'm the faggot who beat you, though." That pretty much sums it up.
It is ironic and humorous because their talk isn't really about basketball and its not long or serious. They basically call each other faggots and junior laughs and rowdy gets mad and runs away.
This Chapter was ironic and humorous because The discussion was neither serious nor long. The whole conversation is about 3 or 4 emails back and forth, short ones too.
Because the talk between Rowdy and Junior wasn't that long and it wasn't serious. Rowdy called Junior a faggot. Junior said that he was a faggot who beat Rowdy. Junior was so happy that his team beat Rowdy's school.
