Remembering

What tribes does Junior belong to? How does this help him feel better?

  1. He belongs to the tribes of Spokanes, American immigrants, basketball players, bookworms, cartoonists, chronic masturbators, teenage boys, small-town kids, Pacific Northwesterners, tortilla chips-and-salsa lovers, poverty, funeral-goers, beloved sons, boys who really missed their best friends. It helps him feel better because it's a sudden realization that he was going to be okay.

  6. He belongs to a lot of random tribes that he feels he fits in with. It makes him feel better because he knows exactly what he is apart of and he isn't ashamed and is not afraid of what he is or what he does. Maybe?
