Mary dies by burning to death in her sleep because she was too drunk to wake up. Her trailer caught fire because she had a "big party," and someone tried to cook soup on a hot plate, but forgot about it and left it on. He reacts by laughing at first because he's so happy that his dad isn't dead too.
His sister dies because she past out from drinking so much alcohol. she past out an d some one was cooking on the stove and forgot and then curtain caught on fire and the whole trailer burned down and she was so drunk she didn't wake up and burned to death. Junior reacted pretty well he didn't really cry about his sisters death. He thought his dad was going to die on his way to get him and he didn't and so he was super happy and couldn't stop laughing until he fell asleep.
Mary has a party and she gets super drunk and passes out. Then somebody leave the hot plate on and it starts her house on fire. She is passed out so she doesn't wake up and burns to death. He reacts by laughing. And he reacts by laughing because that is how he reacts to everything. Everything big that happens in his life he laughs at.

When he first finds out he is really upset. He is also upset that something is going to happen to his dad in the storm. When he gets in the car he starts laughing once agian. I guess laughing is his way of dealing with it. She died because she was really drunk and there was a party at their house.
